B.K.S Iyengar has brought Yoga into the 21st Century, he has developed over two hundred postures (asanas) and breathing (pranayama) techniques to make the practise accessible and available to every individual.

Great emphasis is put on correct positioning of the body so that the structural and physiological systems are harmonised. The postures are aided with the use of props, not only used as an essential tool to help avoid injury but to help achieve precision and alignment, thus giving maximum benefit to the practitioner.

The practise of Yoga not only builds strength, stamina, flexibility and balance but additionally facilitates good health, mental peace and emotional stability.


Classes

Beginner and general level students are catered for at weekly classes in Cambridge. Classes are run in six week blocks but there is also the option to attend on a drop-in basis.
